JONES: Donald Edward Jones of Brandon, passed away peacefully in the Intensive Care Unit at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the age of 62 years. Don was born on March 20, 1952 in Brandon, the son of Victor and Verna Jones. Don worked for many years in the housekeeping department at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his father Victor Jones, sister Barbara (Robert Lee) Jones, niece Kathy (Dom) Blais and their children Genèvieve, William, Michael, niece Jill (Sean) Munday and their children Calum and Myra. Also surviving is extended family June (Bob) Grabowski and Ken (Diane) Montgomery. Don was predeceased by his mother Verna Jones. In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Rideau Park and the Brandon Hospital Intensive Care Unit for the wonderful care that Don received.
