WELBOURNE: The family of Dwight Angus Welbourne regret to announce his sudden and untimely passing on October 21, 2014 at Thompson. He is survived by his children Kimberly, Kerwyn (Raylene) & Kent; granddaughters Kaleigh and Holly and twin grandsons Sam and Jack. Also surviving are four sisters Helen Toovey, Norma Owen, Marlene Bialas (Ted), Sandra Mitchell (Jim); five brothers Gordon, Eric (Rea), Bill, Brian and Duncan, as well as several nieces and nephews and members of the Hogarth family. He was predeceased by parents, Minerva in 1999 and James in 1974; brothers Robert in 1952 and Lionel in 1998 and an infant sister in 1942, brothers-in-law Harold Toovey and Harold Owen. Dwight was born on April 21, 1947. He attended Mount Calm School and when it closed he went to school in Newdale. He worked for Manitoba Pool Elevators on construction; farmed for awhile; before working at Inco in Thompson for over 35 years. After retiring he had a wood cutting business. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date.
