PATTERSON: Wilford Garth Patterson of Fairview Home, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, October 24, 2014. Garth was born on July 12, 1937 at Boissevain, Manitoba. He attended school until the age of fourteen when he left to help on the family farm. Throughout his life, Garth was a truck and heavy machine operator, a city of Brandon bus driver, a Wheat Kings bus driver and owner/operator in the food and delivery industry. He met and married Beverley Dawn Campbell in 1961. While raising a family he attended ACC. He loved all sports especially hockey and curling. Garth is survived by his children Brian, Cindy (Steve) and Deb (Rick), grandchildren Matthew, Cassandra, Jessica, Tiffany, Joshua and Renee and great-grandchildren Karson and Jason. He was predeceased by his wife Beverley in 1992. A private family interment service was held at the Boissevain Cemetery.
