RONEY: Passed away at the Wawanesa Health Centre on Sunday November 2, 2014 at the age of 92 years, Douglas Morley Roney, of Wawanesa MB. Morley leaves to mourn his passing his son Jim (Susan) of Spirit River, AB, daughter Janice (Bob) McDonald of Wawanesa, son-in-law Matt Johnston of Wawanesa, six grandchildren & one great grandson. He is also survived by his brother Bill (Ainsley) of Wawanesa, sister Marlene Snyder of Dauphin MB as well as numerous extended family & friends. Morley was predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Scott) in 1990 & by daughter Arlene Johnston in 2001. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday November 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Wawanesa United Church with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating. Interment will take place in the Wawanesa Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Morley’s memory to the Wawanesa Waterpark, Box 427 Wawanesa MB, R0K 2G0 or to a charity of choice.
