Found Maureen running the B.J.Hales Museum in the 80's. A true lady, caring for her charges in the substantial collection. The one spot in Canada, where you could view and be given background on all the local fauna and fowl. Many a young child and my own loved the museum and Maureen. "Just don't pet the bear!" Helped her with challenges at work, and got to go out to the pasture to deal with the gophers in Bisley fashion:-) and of course tea and cakes after. She loved her car, provided by her children. ( sorry memory vague on that one ) Got lucky later in life, ended up with a Brit girl of my own. - Posted by: Warren Wotton (University employee / friend/ ) on: Oct 27, 2024
