THORNE: Our Mother, Mary “Rose” Thorne of Brandon, MB, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the age of 79 years, with family at her side. Rose leaves to mourn three daughters; Florence (Kevin) Munson, Linda (Todd) Climie, Arlene (Dave) Henderson; seven Grandchildren; and nine Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norman and twin sister Doreen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Patrick Neufeld as Celebrant. A private family interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring Staff of Hillcrest Place for the wonderful care they provided during her residence there. Also many thanks to the Doctors and Staff of the ER and ICU at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
