MADDEN: Vaughan Stuart Madden, age 70 years, passed away at the Riverdale Health Centre, Rivers, Manitoba on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Vaughan spent his entire life in Rivers and area, being born on December 8, 1943, growing up on the family farm and receiving his education in Rivers. He was a business owner of Alexander Esso Service and V&C Repair in Rivers. Vaughan worked at RedFern Farm Services until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing. Left to mourn his passing are: his wife Diane C. Madden; children, Craige S. (Monica) Madden, Kent D. (Dawn) Madden and Michelle G. (Keith) Marshall and six grandchildren, Josh (Natasha), Scott, Kelsey (Lyle), Kirsten, Kaitlin and Brenna. Vaughan is also survived by his mom Winnie, brother Wayne and sisters Gwen, Denise, Lynda, and Alberta. Vaughan was predeceased by his parents and one brother Barry. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Vaughan may be made to Riverdale Palliative Care, Box 428, Rivers, Manitoba, R0K 1X0.
