THROWER: Lillian Thrower, age 85 years, passed away peacefully at Fairview Home on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Lillian was born at North Battleford, Saskatchewan on February 14, 1929. She worked for twenty-five years at Brandon Mental Health Centre in housekeeping and was the house mother at the nurse's residence before her retirement. Lillian loved her children and grandchildren. She never missed a concert or graduation. Lillian also enjoyed spending time with her two best friends, Livia and Lois. She was an amazing cook and had a great sense of humour. Lillian will be deeply missed by her children Mary, Sharon and Mike, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Fairview Home and Memories Chapel for their care and compassion at this time. Cremation has taken place. A tea to Celebrate Lil's Life will be held at a later date.
