HOPKIE: Mary "Louise" Hopkie (nee Gray) passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the age of 60 years. Louise was born on July 18, 1954 in Rivers, Manitoba to Earl and Gwendelynn (Grasby) Gray. She spent her younger years in Rivers and Shoal Lake. She met her husband Dale when she was a teen, they were married on November 22, 1975 and were blessed with three precious daughters. Louise was a devoted mother and a fabulous baker with a great big heart. She was predeceased by her husband Dale; parents Gwendelynn and Earl; sister Lorna; brother Murray; sister-in-law Jeannette Pearson; nephews, Landon and Anthony. She leaves to mourn her daughters Cindy (Ibrahim) Rufai; Brenda Hopkie (Mike Grover), grandchildren JT, Tristan, Jasmine, and Brendan; Holly (Rick) Gower, grandchildren Phoenix, Cheyenne, Kaiden, Ryder; sisters Maureena, Eva, Verna, Laura; brothers Merv, Glen, Cyril, Robert, Albert, and Ron. The Ceremony to Celebrate Louise's Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Alexander Cemetery.
