PUNTON: Barbara Helen Punton passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on December 12, 2014 at the age of 65. Barb was born on March 25, 1949 at Deloraine Memorial Hospital to James and Dorothy Beedie. Barb received her education in Deloraine and Brandon. She worked various jobs until she found her niche as a health care aide at Central Park Lodge (Valleyview Care Centre) where she worked for thirty-five years until her retirement in 2014. Barb enjoyed curling, camping, hanging out with friends, scrapbooking, gardening and baseball, but her greatest love was spending time with family. Barb is survived by Greg, her husband of eighteen years; parents James Beedie and Dorothy Beedie; daughter Deborah Webster (Dwayne); son Chris LeLonde and grandchildren Hayden, Madison, Serena, and Liberty; son Terry Will (Paige) and grandson Anthony; daughter Ashley Will (Clay) and grandchildren Cyla, Cruz, and Carver; Greg's son Tyler Chambers and granddaughter Isabella; sister-in-law Kim Fingas (Murray) and family, many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Interment took place at Rivers Cemetery followed by the Funeral Service at Rivers United Church on Friday, December 19, 2014. Rev. Glenna Beauchamp officiated.
