MANULIAK: Stephen John Manuliak. On Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Riverdale Personal Care Home, Steve Manuliak of Rivers Manitoba, widower of the late Jean Manuliak passed away at the age of 95 years. Funeral service will be held in Memories Chapel and Preplanning Centre on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 am with the Reverend Mitred Michael Skrumeda officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Rivers Cemetery. Steve was born on June 12, 1919 son of Nellie & John Manuliak in Seech, Manitoba were he was raise and received his education. In October of 1946 he married Jean Citulsky and they began to farm in the Rapid City District. They farmed there until 1983 when they retired to Rivers where he lived until his passing. Steve enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Jean in February of 2014, his son Ernie, great-grandson William, brothers; Mike, Bill, Peter, sisters; Anne, Mary, Cora, he leaves to mourn his passing his daughter Muriel (Murray) Walowtez, grandsons Kevin & Trevor and great granddaughter Nessa. Also surviving is his brother Alex of Ontario and several nieces, nephews and extended family on Jean’s side. Flowers are gratefully declined; memorial donations in Steve’s name can be made to a charity of your choice.
