LLOYD: Ross David Henry Lloyd of Brandon, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the age of 76 years after a lengthy illness. Ross was born on July 15, 1938 in Fertile, Saskatchewan. He was the second child to David and Percilla Jane (Robertson) Lloyd. Ross went to school in Tilston, Manitoba and Carville, Saskatchewan. He helped his dad and uncle on the farm. From the farm, he moved to Gainsborough, Saskatchewan and then to Brandon where he was at the time of his passing. Ross leaves to mourn in his passing an older sister Helen Goodnough (Ted) of Asquith, Saskatchewan, a younger brother Elgin Lloyd (Mavis) of Brandon and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his father David in 1971 and his mother Percilla Jane in 1984, a nephew Richard Lloyd in 1989 and a great nephew Ryker Dean in 2013. The Funeral Service Celebrating Ross' Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ross may be made to a charity of choice. The family would like to thank the staff of Dinsdale Home for the great care Ross was given.
