BROWN: Margaret Yvonne passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2014 at Brandon Regional Health Centre. Marg was born July 17th, 1934 to Herb and Maime Lorimer of Pope, MB. Marg received her education in Crandall School. On July 17th, 1954 she married Garry Brown. They remained on the family farm until 1959 moving to Winnipeg for a year and then to Brandon which remained their home. Marg was employed with Green Acres Store and The Egg Grading Station before beginning a 19 year career at Safeway which she retired from on her 65th birthday. Upon her retirement she enjoyed golfing, traveling and playing cards. Family and friends gathered on December 2nd, 2014 at Memories Chapel for a celebration of Marg’s life. Urnbearers were Jeremy and Justin Brown. A reflection of fond memories was read by her granddaughters. Marg will be lovingly remembered by sons Grant of Calgary, Ross (Gail) of Brandon, Kevin (Michelle) of Onanole. Grandchildren Justin, Jeremy, Jenna, Samantha, Tanea and Keanne. Brother Colin (Edie) Lorimer. Sister-in -law Shirley (Tom) Sanderson. Numerous nieces and nephews. Marg was predeceased by her beloved husband Garry, beloved daughter Candice in 2002, her parents Herb and Maime Lorimer and sister Beth Oliver. Donations in memory of Marg may be made to Brandon Regional Health Foundation Palliative Care. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel.
