WAINWRIGHT: Harold Clifford “Sparky” Wainwright passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on January 2, 2015 with family by his side. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Muriel, daughter Cheryle (Don), son Rick (Joan), daughters -in-law Betty and Carita. He also leaves to mourn 8 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren, whom he adored. He was predeceased by sons Jim in 2003 and David in 2008. Harold was born and raised in Brandon. He celebrated in 95th birthday on December 4, 2014. At the time of his passing, he resided at Victoria Landing. Before retiring, Harold worked as a plumber at both Rivers and Shilo bases. He served in the army during World War II. The family enjoyed many camping holidays before building a cabin at Ditch Lake. Dad built the cabin with the help of his family…it was always a busy place. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harold may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 or to Dinsdale Personal Care Home, 510-6th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 3N9.
