BRENNAND: Alexander James Brennand, beloved husband of Peggy Brennand of Virden, Manitoba and formerly of Elkhorn, Manitoba passed away at WestMan Nursing Home, Virden Thursday; January 8, 2015 in his 93rd year. Funeral service will be held from G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden Tuesday; January 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Marianne Olfrey officiating. Interment will follow in Elkhorn Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be at Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden Monday; January 12th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or to Elkhorn and Area Foundation in memory of Alex.
