CHALMERS: Gail April (née Chaske) passed away with her family by her side, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the age of 50 years. Gail was born on June 11, 1964 in Brandon, MB. Gail’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill Chalmers and her children: Joshua, Stacee (Tess) and their father, Rod. Her mother Jessie, sister Laura (Darryl), brother Francis (Punchie), nieces and nephews Renee (Lan), Jvonee (Lance), Keanu (Darlesha), Trae (Jocelyn), Dakota and Autumn. Great nieces and nephews Syrus, Ethan, Lane, Kenan, Landon, Raelyn, Aislyn, Grayson and Jackson. Two special uncles Wesley Tacan and Robert Hapa, as well as her beloved pug, Chunky Chalmers. Gail was predeceased by her father Leroy and brother Guy. Traditional Wake will be held at the Sioux Valley Veterans’ Hall on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 5:00 p.m., with funeral services to be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Wayne Wasicuna officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses in the ICU at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
