MacPHERSON: Ritchie MacPherson passed away January 16, 2015 in his 92nd year after a life full of achievements, travel and adventure. Born in Brandon, Manitoba, he was the son of the late Ritchie (Bob) Macpherson and Mary (Maime) Campbell Macpherson. After receiving his BSc in Chemical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, he accepted a position in the pulp and paper industry in Grand’Mere, QC. Through his 41 years in the industry, he rose to the position of vice president. Upon retirement, he followed his passion for travel, skiing and golf. He was predeceased by twin brother Robert, wife Madge Smith, sisters Lily Williamson, Mary Persson, and companion Claire Fraser. He is survived by brother Campbell Macpherson, sisters Margaret Graham, Shirley Ramstad, children Joan Ross and Ian MacPherson, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
