NEELIN: John Eric Jack WWII VET. Retired Colonel, Canadian Armed Forces. Peacefully at the Bayfield Manor, Kemptville on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Ethel May Neelin (nee Rathwell). Loving father of Kathryn Kealy (Ciaran), Greg Neelin (the late Joyce). Mike Neelin (Claude) and Bill Neelin (Joanne). Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 12. In WWII, Pilot Officer Neelin flew the Wellington Bomber hunting German submarines. Colonel Neelin retired from the Canadian Air Force in 1974 after an illustrious 32 year career. A dedicated family man and beloved patriarch of the Neelin Clan. Friends are invited to visit at the Brown Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville, Ontario on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10 am to 12 noon. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon in the Chapel. Interment at Munster Union Cemetery in the Spring.
