CANADA: William Billy Robert; March 13, 1962 to January 26, 2015. Billy Canada, age 52 years, passed away in Boissevain hospital on Monday January 26, 2015 after a brief hospital stay. Billy was born in Deloraine to Bill and Esther Canada on March 13, 1962. He attended school in Deloraine. He worked in the family business CBC Contracting until 1983 when he gained employment with Goodon Industries Ltd. in Boissevain for the next 17 years. In 2008 Billy met his teenage sweetheart again after 27 years and took a job with Southend Lumber in Brandon. Billy and Lorna relocated to his acreage in the Turtle Mountains along with her two youngest daughters and were married on November 10, 2010. Billy gained employment upon his return with the RM of Winchester. Billy leaves to mourn his wife Lorna, his mother Esther Canada from Boissevain, sons Billy Jr. in Killarney, Jeremy (Tegan) in Thompson, and Devon (Casey) in Boissevain. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren Shelby in Killarney; Amara, Nicholas and Stanley in Boissevain and a step-grandson Loki in Brandon. Billy leaves three step-daughters to mourn, Lindsay (Cody) Fraser in Brandon, Whitney Hodgins in Brandon, and Brook Hodgins in Deloraine. Billy leaves four sisters to mourn, Betty Canada of Boissevain, Carol Racine of Boissevain, Darlene (Bob) Barwick of Boissevain, and Debbie (Lonnie) Graham of Boissevain. Billy leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles to mourn. Billy was predeceased by his father William Canada Sr. and a granddaughter Michelle. Billy loved his family and talked about his grandchildren lovingly all the time. Billy was a loving husband, son, father, step-father, grandfather and uncle and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In accordance with Billys wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Boissevain Cemetery.
