LOWE: Anne (born Marguerite Anne Elizabeth Rodgerson) passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Rideau Park Personal Care Home, at the age of 81 years. She was born in Brandon on September 9, 1933, the only child of Arthur and Bernice Rodgerson. A few short years after graduating from Brandon Collegiate Institute she was employed by Manitoba Telephone System and married Steve Lowe, settling into the role of homemaker and mother, raising four sons. As the youngest of her children entered middle school, she took employment with the Brandon Flower and Gift Shop and the Brandon Public Library. For several years she was a volunteer at the Daly House Museum. In addition to a life-long love of reading, she also did square dancing, medieval dancing, quilting, knitting, needlework and fabric arts. Anne was predeceased by her mother Bernice, father Arthur, and son Terry in 2011. Left to remember Anne are, her husband for over 60 years Steve; sons Alan in Brandon, Brian in Winnipeg, and Michael (Trudy) in Calgary, and grandsons Connor and Evan. The family would like to thank Rideau Park Personal Care Home for their care in her last years. The Celebration of Anne's Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Arlene Robertson officiating.
