MORRICE: Lloyd Morrice, age 82 years, beloved husband of Lilliss, dear father to Ian and Bonnie, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Lloyd was born, March 31, 1932 and was raised on a dairy farm in North Russell, Ontario. He attended a one room public school in North Russell. He also attended Russell Continuation School and then graduated from Kemptville Agricultural College. Lloyd was employed with Imperial Oil for 34 years. He transferred from Ottawa to Thunder Bay and then to Brandon in 1980 as a Field Auditor. During his many years in Brandon, Lloyd was a board member of First Presbyterian Church, served as P.D.G. with Lions International, receiving the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award (Highest Award). Lloyd adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed square dancing for many years, loved singing at Senior Homes and Lions Manor and playing euchre with Doug and Helen. Lloyd enjoyed pencil art from an early age and also writing memories of family and school days. He leaves his beloved wife Lilliss; son, Ian (Kathleen) of Dartmouth, NS; daughter, Bonnie (Bruce) Leflar of Brandon; granddaughter, Brooke and grandson Robin of Lethbridge, AB. A brother, Douglas (Helen) of Edmonton; brother-in-law, Mervin Graham of Calgary; sister-in-law Verla Graham of Ottawa and many nieces and nephews also survive. Lloyd was predeceased by his father, Robert, mother Nellie (Ross) and brothers: Erskine (Betty), Edward (Marjorie), sister- in-law Cecilia, brothers-in-law: Willard (Dorothy), Eldred and Bevis. The Funeral Ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Dong-Ha Kim officiated.
