REEVE: With sadness the family of Eleanor Marie Reeve, age 73 years, announce that her death occurred on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born in Grande Clairiere, Manitoba, on May 28, 1941, Eleanor received her schooling there, as well as Fairfax and Minto. Always on the go, Eleanor worked in Virden, Brandon, Winnipeg, Calgary, eventually returning to Brandon where she retired in 1995 from the YMCA after 5 years of employment. Left to cherish Eleanor's memory are partner Ivor Jenks; sister Lucie Fiedler, nieces and nephews Pat, Laura, Randy, Chris, Michelle; brother Dan (Sherril) Flick, nieces and nephews Pam, Tim, Teresa, Dale; brother Dean (Mary) Flick, nieces Bev and Mandi; step-son Ron Reeve and step-grandchildren Derek and Rayanne; Ivor's children Murray (Carolyn) McCrindle, Greg (Judy) Manning; sisters-in-law Alice Bettcher, Florence Burns and Inez Pritschaw and all of their families. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Reeve, stepson Kevin, brother-in-law Bill Fiedler. The Funeral Service will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow also at the Chapel. Eleanor will be laid to rest beside her first husband during a private interment at the Brandon Cemetery.
