SALVADOR: Collyne Louise Marie (nee Bandusiak) passed away on Sunday, June 14 at the age of 59 in Winnipeg, MB. Born and raised in Brandon, Collyne spent the majority of her life working in the helping professions supporting individuals with disabilities or working with at-risk youth and adults through correctional services. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic and the compassion she showed towards those she worked with and for. Collyne lived a quiet life and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures – baking, gardening and spending time with people she cared about. She was most proud of her three children and the lives they have built for themselves. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner of 15 years, Rod Neufeld (Winnipeg); sister Shelley Bandusiak (Brandon); and her three children, Bryce (April) of New Jersey, Kristyn Hope (Rob Roberts) of Brandon, and Bryan (Lisa) of Winnipeg. Memories will be shared and live on in her grandchildren Pierson, Hudson and Zoe; her friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Irene, and brother Robert. The family extends our sincerest appreciation to all members of the team at the Leukemia/BMT Clinic and the staff on the GD6 floor at Health Sciences Centre. According to Collyne’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in Collyne’s memory can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or Kidsport.
