MELLIN: Surrounded by her family, Effie “Joyce” Mellin passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Joyce was predeceased by her husband “Mel”, brothers Wallace and Bruce, sister Linda and parents, Leila and Cliff Buckley. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Barrie (Wanda) and daughter Shari (Bob) Haverstock, grandchildren Justin Mellin, Ryan (Susan) Haverstock and Trevor Haverstock (Brittany Adriaansen), and great-grandchildren Keirstyn and Sydney Haverstock. Mom’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her and she loved them very much. Joyce is also survived by her sisters Sandra (Bob) Speight and Val Swain, sisters-in-law Marg Buckley and Joan Buckley, a very special aunt, Marion Gibbons, and many nieces and nephews. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
