ROGERS: Shirley May Rogers (Roman) born July 2, 1927 in Winnipeg M.B. passed away July 19, 2015 at Brandon General Hospital from complications due to a fall. Married to Harry Rogers October 14, 1950 in Winnipeg, MB, Mom and Dad started their married life in Watson Lake Yukon, for Dads first posting in the Air Force. Mom was a Girl Guide Leader and eventually became a commissioner of the Girl Guides of Canada. She enjoyed canning, baking,sewing and knitting for her family. She was predeceased by Harry Rogers, May 31, 1983. Survived by her four children, Miles Rogers, Karen (Ross Adam), Heather (Jim James) and Valerie (Jeff McManes), eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grand children. The Immediate family will gather for a private service in Winnipeg.
