MAGNACCA: Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Finch). At the age of 80, with grace, courage and dignity, Betty went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Born in Wawanesa, Manitoba she was the beloved wife of Allan for 57 years. Incredible mother to Scott (Jill), Mark, and Elizabeth (Paul). Dearly loved Grandma, Yaya and Momma to Sean, Adam, Maximillian, Jacob, Lorenzo and Trinity. Survived by her sister Phyllis Harwood, brother in law Bill Harwood and sister in law Pat Coleman. “Bet” was a wonderful and fun loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Betty will be sadly missed by her many friends from Niagara-on- the-Lake, Agincourt and Clear Lake. Betty was very active in the Niagara-on-the-Lake community. She was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Church for 35 years, an enthusiastic member of the archives committee and carried on the tradition of the cherry pie ladies with humour and leadership. She spent over 25 years with the Shaw Guild. Betty also was a member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital Auxiliary and a Board Member of the Hospital Foundation. Betty enjoyed a good game of golf and celebrated a hole in one in her 70’s. Her love of music and dancing will always be remembered. The family would like to acknowledge the compassion and care given to Betty and her family by Dr. Radhika Yelamanchili and her oncology team, the nurses in 3-B and the chemo nurses at SGH. The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home,  415 Regent St. Niagara-on-the -Lake, on Wednesday July 29, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 41 Byron St, Niagara-on- the-Lake, on Thursday July 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. with a private family interment to take place at another time. The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St. Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Wednesday July 29, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 41 Byron St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Thursday July 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a private family interment to take place at another time.
