BROWN: Elmer Brown of Brandon, formerly of Oak Lake, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Elmer was born on October 2, 1931 in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Audrey, his son Dennis (Gloria), daughter Denise, three granddaughters Crystal (Ross), Lisa (Clay) and Cheryl, great-granddaughter Vianna as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his brothers George (Emily), Ray, Mervyn (Evelyn), brother-in-law Russell and sister-in-law Margaret. Elmer was predeceased by his parents, his youngest son Kenny, his sister and two brothers, and son-in-law Calvin. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Elmer may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3 or to a charity of choice.
