MACKAY: On Saturday, September 5, 2015 , Melville Merton "Mel" MacKay, beloved husband of Joyce, dear father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully at Fairview Home, Brandon. A private family graveside service will be held at the Alexander Cemetery with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating. A Come and Go reception will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Mel to the Canadian Diabetes Association, A1, 800 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, MB R7A 6N5 or to a charity of choice.
