TRIBE: Margaret Ida Tribe, widow of the late Harry Tribe, daughter of the late Gerald Burney, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 93 years. Margaret was predeceased by four sisters, Doris, Edith, Stella and Geraldine, and two brothers, Les and Ray. Margaret married the love of her life, Harry. Together they raised two children, son Hugh (Betty) and daughter Lee-Ann (Jack). Also remaining to cherish her memory are grandchildren Todd and Sherri -Lee; great-grandchildren Brittany, Tarren-Jane and Robyn; great great-grandchildren Rylan, Austin and Alex; brother Jim Burney, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In her younger years, Margaret loved sports, such as basketball, baseball, skating, bowling, and bike riding. A proud moment was at age 72 years, she rode her horse 35 miles for muscular dystrophy. For more than 10 years, Margaret also hosted bible study in her home. The Ceremony to Celebrate Margaret's Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Jardine officiating. Honourary pallbearers will be all in attendance. A reception will follow at Memories Chapel. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Salvation Army, 9 Princess Avenue East, Brandon, MB R7A 1R8 or to a charity of choice.
