EWANYSHYN: Patrick Ewanyshyn of Oakburn, Manitoba passed away accidentally on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the age of 51 years. Patrick is survived by his wife Michele, sons: Bradley and Robert, his mother Jessie Ewanyshyn, his siblings and nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Oakburn with Fr. Mykhaylo Khomitskyy officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Oakburn Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Fund or a charity of their choice. It has been a long time since I last seen Patrick Aug 18 1976 in Oakburn. Had a passion for farming and helping his parents Peter and Jessie. Thought of visiting Oakburn next summer to visit with him. Looked up his name and came across this obituary. Very saddened to read about this news seven years since Patrick’s passing.
