COLLIER: After a long life of 94, Arthur John Collier died on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. A Brandonite through and through, Dad served Canada in the Signals Corp in Normandy and Holland during WWII. Married to Marjorie Sproule in 1947, he called 2240 Rosser home for over 50 years. Predeceased by Marjorie and son Donald, Dad was known to many and leaves the gift of life to daughter Anne, sons Jim and Norman, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Special mention to Rod McLennan for his long friendship. Dads friends, acquaintances and family are invited to his memorial service on Saturday, October 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332 Eighth Street, Brandon, Manitoba. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation (cwf-fcf.org), 350 Michael Cowpland Drive, Kanata, Ontario, K2M 2W1.
