McKENZIE: Brian James McKenzie, of Brandon, Manitoba, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Brian was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 14, 1942. During his early life, he lived in Winnipeg, Brandon and Saskatoon, receiving his education in Saskatoon at Wilson School and City Park Collegiate, graduating in 1960. Brian worked for the Bank of Commerce until 1967, at which time he started employment with Pacific Petroleums (Petro-Canada), spending 26 years as a Territory Manager in Calgary, Kamloops, Penticton, Winnipeg and Brandon. After retirement, he worked for several other companies in sales. Brian was a proud member of the Associated Canadian Travellers in Kamloops, Penticton, Winnipeg and Brandon. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Brian is survived by his wife Helen, son Bradley (Mary) of Bangkok, Thailand, son David (Vivian) of Tuktoyaktuk, NWT and brother Colin (Barbara) of Victoria, B.C. He was predeceased by his parents. A Celebration of Brians Life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Brians memory may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 7M6.
