Merle TREMAINE

TREMAINE: Merle Lenore (nee Hedley) passed away in her 92nd year at the Country Meadows Personal Care Home in Neepawa, MB on January 20, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Harold A. Tremaine; mother of Dean (Doris), Phil (Pat) and Don (Sandy); grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 14 (and a half)  great-grandchildren. Merle is survived by her sister Wilma Treloar of Three Hills, Alberta; brother Robert and wife Marguerite Hedley of Hamiota; and sisters-in-law Gerry Hedley, Hamiota; Jean Hedley, High River; and Gerry Hedley, Penticton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Merle was predeceased by her parents Percy E. Hedley and Aleta G. (Irvine / Kirk) Hedley, as well as brothers Norville James (Jim) Kirk, Harvey Hedley, Raymond Hedley, Reg Hedley and sister -in-law Stella Kirk.  Services will be held in Hamiota United Church on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:30 pm., with a brief interment at the Hamiota Cemetery. A reception will follow at the United Church Chumah Hall. Donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Unit 3, 824 – 18th St, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7 or to a charity of choice.
