SMITH: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Smith, loved wife of Murray, with her husband and sister-in-law Geri Wilson at her bedside in Vernon, BC on February 4, 2016, after a three year battle with cancer. Left to cherish Betty’s memory are her husband Murray, two sons and their wives, Henry and Michelle, Ken and Carla, and two grandsons Brennan and Bryce. Also with fond memories are her Manitoba in-laws, sister-in-law Geri Wilson, nephews and niece, Garett and Brett Wilson, and Janessa Champagne (Maisie and Lachlan). She was predeceased by her parents-in-law, Lyman and Elizabeth Smith and brother-in-law Gerry Wilson. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in Alberta and BC. A Celebration of life is to be held for Betty on April 23, 2016 at Parker Cove, BC. Condolences were received and very much appreciated by Murray C. Smith, 236 Parker Cove, Vernon, BC, V1H 2A1.
