CAMPBELL: Mervin Campbell passed away peacefully at Dinsdale Personal Care Home with family by his side on Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was born April 7, 1938 to Milton and Millie Campbell, the oldest of three boys. Mervin lived on a farm and went to school in Harding, Manitoba. He was married for 57 years to the love of his life, Lois (nee Kent). They had one son Blake who passed away in 1979. After 43 years, he retired from driving with Grey Goose Bus Lines with three million plus accident free safe driving miles. Remaining to cherish Mervin's memory are his wife Lois, brothers Bryan (Lillian) of Brandon and Donald (Nancy) of Amarillo, Texas, sister-in-law Lynne (Elwood) English, brother-in-law Darcy (Libby) Kent as well as special nieces and their families. Mervin was predeceased by his parents Milton and Millie Campbell, son Blake, in-laws Fred and Eileen Kent, and sister-in-law Wanda (Grant) Steertz. Lois would like to thank Dinsdale Home for the loving care and consideration given to Mervin and family during his stay. A private immediate family Graveside Service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens with Capt. Brenda Hammond officiating. A Come and Go Memorial Reception will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. If friends so desire a donation in memory of Mervin may be made to Dinsdale Personal Care Home - "Activities Department", 510-6th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 3N9.
