TRUSS: Kent John Truss, October 8, 1935 – December 22, 2015. Kent is survived by his wife Lorna and their three children Linda (James), John (Debra) and Kevin (Kate) and five grandchildren Taylor, Katie, Emma, Daniel and JJ. Kent is also survived by his three sisters Gail (Nelson), Barbara (Bob), and Betty along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Alf Truss. Kent worked at AECL in Pinawa for 29 years and for AECL a total of 33 years. After retirement, he (and Lorna) moved to Calgary where he enjoyed volunteering for STARS, camping in the mountains, and spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Columnaria in the Brandon Cemetery at 3:00 pm Friday, June 3, 2016. We welcome his friends and invite you to a reception at the Royal Oak Inn following the service. Anyone wishing to donate in Kent’s memory can donate to a Dementia organization or any charity of your choice.
