SCOTT: James (Jim) A. Scott; of Hamiota, MB; passed away suddenly on Monday, July 4, 2016 at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota at 70 years of age. Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife Marie (nee Brandt); sons Vaughn (Denise) and Brant (Frankie); grandchildren Katelynn and Madison Scott; and by sisters-in-law Janet and Maryann. Jim was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Del Scott; and brothers Ross and Ray Scott. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Hamiota Community Centre at 2:00 pm with interment following in the Hamiota Cemetery. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 3–824 18th St, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7 or to the Hamiota Community Foundation Inc., Box 100, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0.
