MONTGOMERY:Marybelle June Montgomery. June 23, 1938 July 5, 2016. Peacefully our wife and mother passed away, at the age of 78 years, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband John; children Kevin, Kurt (Kathy); grandchildren Josh and Katarina; sister-in-law Audrey (Larry). She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Margaret Sadler, brother and sister-in-law Ron and Alma Sadler, father-in-law and mother-in-law Arthur and Lorraine Wright. Marybelle was born on June 23, 1938, in Hamilton, Ontario. At a young age she was adopted and grew up in London, Ontario. Marybelle was married on October 15, 1960. She worked with Northern Life Insurance before the birth of her sons. Mom went back to work once her boys were old enough. First at the Chalet Motel and then the United Cigar Store until her retirement. She spent a great deal of time in Parkhill, Ontario visiting relatives. Some of the fondest memories were the family road trips back to her home. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and friends, cats, knitting, 5 pin bowling, playing her piano, cars, and NASCAR. Our mothers passion and strength allowed her to battle cancer over the past few years. We would like to thank the many friends and family who visited and comforted her during her last few days. Particularly, Donalda Warren and Maxine Twells. A special thanks to the doctors and the staff at Brandon Regional Health Centre for their support and care for our mother and our family. The Eternal GoodnessI know not what the future hathOf marvel or surprise;Assured alone that life and deathHis mercy underlies. And if my heart and flesh are weakTo bear an untried pain,The bruised reed He will not break,But strengthen and sustain. And so, beside the silent sea,I wait the muffled roar;No harm from Him can come to me,On ocean or on shore.I know not where His islands liftTheir fronded palms in air;I only know I cannot driftBeyond His love and care. ~ John G. Whittier
