She was a social butterfly and loved to stop and chat in Zeller’s, in the grocery store, on the bus, while waiting in line for lotto tickets and just about everywhere else. Her passions included her Toronto Blue Jays, curling, bus trips to the casino and taking care of her family. She always talked about her time working at Eaton’s and all the great lifelong friends she made. She was the youngest 88 year old any of us ever knew and will be greatly missed by all. A private family Graveside Service was held on Thursday, July 14th at the Brandon Cemetery. If friends so wish, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, Unit 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7.
