DUNN: Sadie Hunter Dunn (Bride) (nee Congdon), of Middlechurch Home, formerly of Lions Manor, Brandon, passed away on July 13, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg. Sadie was born in Newdale, Manitoba on July 23, 1919. She was married to Cecil Bride and had 3 children: Ron, Sally and Don. Sadie worked at the Brandon General and Assiniboine Hospital until her retirement where she moved to Lions Manor and enjoyed many years entertaining the residents singing with the Manor Melodiers. Spending most of her summers at her cottage at Sandy Lake she met and married Jack Dunn. Sadie was predeceased by Cecil Bride, Jack Dunn; daughter Sally Wellman; sister Isabelle McTavish and brother Bob Congdon. Sadie is survived by sons Ron (Dreena) Bride, Don (Debbi) Bride and son-in-law Dave (Debbie) Wellman. She is also survived by grandchildren Kevin (Carol) Bride, Allison (Kevin) Campbell, Chris (Dawn) Wellman, Heather (Greg) Wellman, Christina (Phil) Swanson, Curtis (Colleen) Bride, Ryan (Jasmine) Bride and Joel (Dana) Bride and great-grandchildren Brittany, Cole, Evan, Kohlby, Katelyn, Ryan Jr. and Avery. A private family service will take place at the Newdale Cemetery on what would have been her 97th birthday.
