THOMAS: Lillian Thomas Feb. 1, 1912 - July 26, 2016. Lily passed away at the Simkin Centre on July 26, 2016 at the age of 104 years. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters Doris and Joan; and her beloved husband Fred in 1979. Lily leaves to mourn her passing her three children Ron (Sandra) Thomas of Onanole, Diane (Dave) Davidson of Ottawa, Ontario and Donna Forbes of Winnipeg; grandchildren Lisa Klaverkamp, Jamie (Coleen) and Kevin (Aujah) Thomas; Rob (Marika), Jeff and Chris Davidson; Jason (Tracy) Forbes; and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. A reception will follow at the church. A private interment will take place in Brandon, MB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre, 1 Falcon Ridge Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 1V9. A special thanks to all the staff at the Simkin Centre who cared for Mum over the years.
