OSTASH: Lena Ostash of Shoal Lake passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Shoal Lake-Strathclair Health Centre at the age of 86 years. Lena is survived by her husband Milton; 5 sons: Dennis (Lois), Rick (Mavis Halliday), Ken (Lee), Joe (Deb) and Darren (Terri Rutledge); 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers: Joe and Peter and 2 sisters: Eugenia and Mary. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Shoal Lake. Prayers will be said on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from the church. Father Mykhaylo Khomitskyy will officiate.
