ROGERS BLUE: With family by her side, Meredith Ann Rogers Blue passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Meredith was born November 1, 1944 and grew up in London, Ontario. Ballet was important to her in the early years, as well as Scottish Country Dancing. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Meredith and her husband Art thoroughly enjoyed the medical practice they established in Carberry, caring for the community and surrounding area, and involvement in aboriginal communities, for several years. She also assisted in surgery in Neepawa and she loved delivering babies which always brought a special joy. Meredith loved her garden, horses, song birds, butterflies, writing and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and National Parks. Meredith will be lovingly remembered by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother and sister, who live in Boise, ID, Grande Prairie, AB, Angusville, MB, Brandon, Winnipeg, and London, Ontario. A private service was attended by her family and loved ones on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Brandon. Donations in memory of Meredith may be made towards land preservation organizations in the Carberry or London, Ontario areas. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
