MEALY: With family by his side, Ivan Hudson Mealy, age 85 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Boissevain Health Centre. Ivan leaves to mourn his beloved wife Grace, daughter Marvie and son Trevor. He was born on March 17, 1931 at the family home of Welland and Fern Mealy at Fairfax, Manitoba. A Service to Celebrate Ivan's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, Brandon, MB on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating. A reception will follow at Memories Chapel. Private interment to be held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens at a later date. In memory of Ivan, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 3-824 18th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 5B7 or to the Palliative Care - Boissevain Health Centre, Box 899, Boissevain, Manitoba R0K 0E0.
