LL.M., Ph.D.Tax LawJune 12, 1952 - August 7, 2016In Ottawa on Sunday, August 7, 2016, age 64 years, after a courageous battle, Robert (Bob) McMechan, in the midst of love of family and friends passed away. Bob is the beloved son of Sylvia McMechan, Regina and the late William Charles McMechan of Deloraine. Those left to cherish Bob’s memory are his loving partner, Allison Woyiwada, Ottawa, his daughter, Laurie Souchotte (Joel) and their son, Blake, his son, Phil McMechan (Kristie) and their daughter, Isla and step children, Marya Woyiwada (Alain Lacroix) and Tyler Woyiwada. Dear brother of sisters, Bette-Lou Paragg (Ralph), Regina and their children, Karla and Jillian and Joan Veselovsky (Ben) of Virden. A celebration of Bob’s life was held at Southminister United in Ottawa on August 12, 2016.
