STANICK: Jeffrey James Stanick, Brandon, Manitoba, 45 years of age September 9th, 1970 - August 19th, 2016. We are very sad to announce the passing of Jeff on Friday, August 19th in Brandon Manitoba. Jeff’s passions were many and in no order he loved his family and friends. He would go to great lengths to ensure you were aware of his reliability when needed for anything at all. Jeff was an all around outdoorsman. He never turned down an opportunity to go hunting, fishing, quading, or sledding. He would love nothing more than to have people to his cabin and take them all around the lake. All the while be very guarded with his fishing spots. He organized numerous fishing and hunting trips with family and friends and became well known and respected as the General. Jeff came across as a big tough guy but really just had a big heart. His kindness was as big as his presence when he entered a room. Jeff had good morals and demanded the same from his family and friends, and in no uncertain terms would he miss the opportunity to set you straight if you fell short. Jeff had a natural entrepreneurial drive and was very successful at every business adventure he approached. Jeff started work at the Brick in Brandon and remained at the top of the charts for top sales across Canada. He realized his own potential and not long after opened his own Brick Franchise in Thompson, Manitoba in 2006. Throughout this time Jeff was able to purchase and develop properties including his pride possession in the Grand Valley. Jeff saw this land and home as his paradise. Jeff is predeceased by his mother Cindy Stanick and will be missed by many but it’s impossible to measure the sadness from his family. He is survived by his Dad, Brian Stanick, his brother Michael Stanick and daughter Abbey, his sister Raquelle and husband Brian Baker and children Tyler, (daughter Paisley) and Camryn, his sister Shannon and husband Chad Daciuk and children Payton and Macy. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, August 25th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church. Interment at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Fellowship followed at the Victoria Inn Imperial Ball Room. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make donations to Westman Opportunities Inc. 1544 10th Street Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4H7. Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service of Russell, Manitoba in care of arrangements. 204-773-2747.
