PIRIE: Myrtle Pirie of Strathclair, Manitoba passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Morley House of Shoal Lake Personal Care Home at the age of 99 years. Myrtle is survived by her son Eugene of Strathclair, daughter Irene (Sidney) Emberly of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, three grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Strathclair Baptist Church with interment following in the Strathclair Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Strathclair Community Centre, Strathclair, Manitoba R0J 2C0.
