McLEAN: Joan McLean of Strathclair passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Joan was predeceased by her husband Kenneth McLean and her son Glen and his wife Grace. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Kumiko) McLean of Kyoto, Japan, Ian (Elaine) McLean of Strathclair, Jo-Ann (Greg) McKerchar of Strathclair, Diane (Mark) Nowell of Winnipeg, Doreen (Bill) Sawyer of Beulah; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Strathclair United Church, Strathclair. Rev. Jamie Bradshaw will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Strathclair United Church, Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice.
