WARK: Leanne Gayle Wark, April 4, 1975 -October 29, 2016 Leanne Wark, age 41 years passed away at Health Science Centre, Winnipeg, MB on October 29, 2016 of a rare lung disease, with her family and friends at her side. Leanne was born in Brandon, MB to Wes Wark and Ella Wark. She went to Riverview School then on to Crocus Plains High School. She spent most of her life in Brandon with summer weekends out at Oak Lake Beach with her mom and dad, cousins and friends. Leanne resided the last 10 years in Oak Lake. Leanne gave birth to a son, Robbie, in 1992, the highlight of her life. Her last job was working for Brandon Community Options. Leanne was very gifted and talented. She loved doing crafts, like painting old cheese boxes, and making tea cup bird feeders. Leanne leaves to mourn, her son Robbie Wark, special friend and partner Randy, sister Geri (Doug Kerr), Kalen, Collin (Jenica), brothers Eddy, Dennis (Crystal), Jami and Meghan, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and Randy’s family. She is also mourned by special Aunt and Uncle Dennis and Jan, cousins Kim, Deana and families. Leanne and her cousins were inseparable in their childhood years. Her dad passed away on November 1, 2004 and Leanne will be laid to rest beside him at the Minto Cemetery, Minto, MB. The family would like to thank Leanne’s friends who spent the few days with her making her feel loved and special, Talena, Justine, Carman, Trish, Charlene, Tamera and Crystal, also to Randy for being at her side in her time of need.
