Dad worked hard over the years farming and supporting his community in various ways: as a school trustee for many years, in the 4-H calf club, on the Cypress River history book and on many other committees. He loved sports, playing hockey, curling, baseball and golf. He played a mean game of pool, enjoyed reading and was known to watch the odd game show. Dad also tried his luck on the slots and playing blackjack now and then. Spending time at the cottage at Twin Lakes Beach with Mom and Aunt Kathleen was a highlight of his summers. We would like to extend our thank yous to all the staff at the Treherne and Notre Dame Hospitals for the care and support as well as a thank you to Dr. Vorster for your years of dedication to Dad. Respecting Robbies wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in the Glencoe Cemetery, Cypress River, MB.
